After Dream destroys Logstedshire and bars Tommy from going into the Nether or having any visitors, Tommy builds a tower hundreds of blocks into the sky, with the clear intention of jumping to his death.
He ultimately does not go through with it , but came very close. Fortunately, Dream only killed Tommy to prove his necromancy book exists, and brings him back a few days later. He misses his shots and is swiftly killed. He points this out himself, after they go from bright blue to almost grey.
