Синглтон Вискокурня Даффтаун — это односолодовый шотландский виски с выдержкой в 12 лет. То есть в данном случае не было купажа, а взяли один единственный висковый дистиллят, который медленно и бережно созревал в течение 12 лет в дубовых бочках, а затем был разбавлен особой водой из источника, который придает этому напитку живости. В общем, должно получиться нечто невообразимое. Но мы сейчас как раз и проверим это. Вкус и аромат виски Синглтон Вискокурня Даффтаун 12 лет И вот в моем бокале оказался напиток золотистого, словно даже медового цвета. Здесь, впрочем, поучаствовал натуральный краситель Е150а, который добавляется в большое количество алкогольных напитков.
Ароматика у односолодового шотландского виски Singleton of Dufftown 12 years в первую очередь свежей кураги, чернослива и просто свежих фруктов яблок и груши, пожалуй. Во вкусе опять же чернослив и фрукты, даже как будто орехи. А в послевкусии тоненькие шоколадно-кофейные и ореховые нотки проявились.

Если раньше из горлышка на природе он напоминал блендед виски, то из бокальчика дома на органолептику это водка, честно побывавшая в контакте с древесиной дуба. Спиртуозность никуда не пропала, бурбонных нот не обнаружено. Допивать не стал, оставил на компрессы и переключился на Crabbies Yardhead, который совсем не из кукурузы, но бурбонные нотки там есть за счёт выдержки пару лет в бурбонной бочке.

Откуда же спиртуозность в блендед молте Glen Eagles "на шотландских спиртах"? Думаю, дело в постсоветской традиции добавлять ректификат туда, где его не должно быть. Этот виски до недавнего времени у нас в пятёрках долго стоял по 700 рублей, никому не нужный, что тоже возможно говорит о качестве продукта.
Мой отзыв на виски Singleton Синглтон 12 лет и его цену По итогу этой моей дегустации я в восторге оказался. Давненько искал момента попробовать этот односолодовый вариант. И вот получилось. Цена всё же у Singleton of Dufftown 12 years весьма немаленькая, поэтому как-то не хотелось его себе за свои деньги позволять. А тут так удачно всё сложилось с фестивалем этим крепко-алкогольным. Ну что можно сказать?
Богатейшая ароматика, очень слоистый и интересный вкус. Чувствуется великолепный класс и высочайший уровень напитка. Это не какой-нибудь 3-летний попсовый купаж, к которому так привыкли у нас в России.
Если подвести некоторый итог, то можно сказать что виски сбалансированный - всё приятненько, но одинаково не солидно для 12ти лет. Что аромат, что вкус, что послевкусие. С другой стороны, ценник для 12ти лет ниже среднего, по сравнению с другими представителями этого возраста. На моей полке этот виски занял нишу "хлопнуть и закусить хорошо перчёным куском мяса". Разбирать аромат, смаковать и растягивать этот виски не особо хочется, поэтому по завершению бутылки Акентошан 12 уступит своё место либо своему собрату, но без выдержки - Акентошан Американ ОАК, либо ещё более простому McLelands, так как переплачивать за выдержку в данной нише нет смысла, а на более высокую ступень 12ти летка Акентошана не тянет. Я брал по акции за 2. А за 2,5к можно взять по акции Гленфидик 12, но о нём как нибудь в другой раз.

Конечно, найдутся и интереснее образцы. Тот же 15-летний или даже старше. Но и этот чудо как хорош.
